Run For Your Life!

Are there any more adrenaline-producing words than the shouted command “Run for your life!”? That is exactly what we should feel when we read this week’s passage (2 Timothy 2:14-3:9). Paul gives a number of contrasts leading up to the impassioned command “flee!” followed by “Pursue!” We don’t just run from bad things,  but we also run toward good things. This is not stuff to take lightly. So get ready to lace up your running shoes and hit the road!
